SUMMARY

Suncor, Canada's largest energy company, spent years under scrutiny for safety lapses and environmental criticism. After hiring a new CEO, it was time to rebuild their reputation.

The strategy wrote itself: Suncor's comeback mirrored the Flames', mirrored Calgary's, mirrored Canada's i.e. a country rediscovering national pride amid U.S. trade tensions, a city reawakening around a new arena.

This created the platform Hometown Energy: a rallying cry for Calgarians and Suncor employees alike, showcasing in-game, away games, and company wins. Built on the resilience and grit that defines Canadian hockey and the C of Red.
